The Vinod Neotia Charitable Ward (VNCW) has been setup in the Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre as a philanthropic gesture towards providing quality healthcare to the underprivileged sections of the society in North Bengal. Two 6 bedded wards, one male and the other female, have been established to provide surgical and medical treatment to patients who have upto Rs.1,00,000 family income from all sources per annum in particular. This facility will be confined to Indian Citizens only.
In order to avail the inpatient facilities at the VNCW, the concerned patient will have to meet certain criteria,the detailed criteria can be availed from Hospital Administration on specific enquiry.
The VNCW shall provide specialised treatment to all inpatients, However neo-natal, Paediatric, Critical Care and emergency services are not a part of the scheme. Patients will be provided with free bed charge, OT and doctor’s bedside visit, further they would be given a discount in diagnostic procedures. The cost of medicines, consumables and implants will be charged as per the purchase price of the hospital. A summary of likely costing is appended below :

If the Patient is shifted to critical care all charges will be applicable as actual.
At first, patients willing to avail treatment in the given scheme will apply in the prescribed format with admission advice from the treating doctor. After scrutinizing the reason for admission by the expert team and verification of documents supporting eligibility, the patient will be scheduled for pre admission check up.
Final decision regarding admission will be taken in this consultation by the in house doctors. The hospital can grant subsidized treatment to the patient under this scheme, only once in a calendar year and no other member of his/her family can avail the services under this scheme concurrently.
For surgical cases, the patient will then be scheduled for PAC and based on the outcome of PAC the patient will be scheduled for OT on the next available day.
The maximum period of hospitalization in VNCW, is seven days per patient. Any extension of stay will be at cost.
